Who is behind this

We sell eight cities because eight is what we can stand behind.

Omeega started in 2018 with one car, one licensed guide in Jaipur and a spreadsheet of what a day out actually costs when nobody is skimming it.

We are still small on purpose. Every journey on this site is run by an operator we have met, in a city somebody at this desk knows well enough to argue about.

The rule

If a member of this team has not done the journey inside the last twelve months, in the season you would travel, it does not go on the site. That is the whole reason the list is 48 journeys long instead of four hundred.

01How it works

How a journey gets
onto this site.

Four steps, in this order, before anything appears with a price on it.

01

We go first

Nobody sells a journey here they have not done themselves. A desk person walks the route, eats the food and times the drive in the season you would travel.

02

We pick the operator

One licensed operator per city, chosen for their guides rather than their rate card. We meet them, we check the licence, we ask who actually shows up.

03

We price it whole

Entry tickets, guide, fuel, parking, taxes. It gets costed as one number with GST inside, then compared against what the same day costs booked piecemeal.

04

We keep watching

Every trip is reviewed after it runs. Two bad reports in a season and the journey comes off sale until it is fixed — that is why the list is short.

02What we hold to

Why book with Omeega.

Six things we do differently — written down so you can hold us to them, and so the desk cannot quietly stop doing one.

01 All-inclusive pricing The number you see is the number you pay. GST is inside it, there is no booking fee, and there is no convenience charge at the end.
02 A real person on the trip Every booking gets a direct line to the operator and a 24-hour support number that a human answers.
03 Licensed guides only Ministry of Tourism or state-licensed, and mostly the same people trip after trip.
04 Free changes, generously applied Flight delayed? Train cancelled? Tell us and we will move it, usually for nothing.
05 We say no If a journey does not work in a given season we will tell you rather than sell it to you.
06 Nothing is subcontracted twice You book with us, we book the operator. There is no third layer taking a cut and losing your details.

03The people

Four desks, and the
cities they answer for.

No call centre and no shared inbox. Your enquiry lands with whoever knows that part of the country.

Sofia D'Cruz

West coast desk

Based in Panjim. Handles Goa and Mumbai — boats, backwater crossings, the Dharavi walk and the ferries that stop running in June.

The only person here who argues that monsoon is the good season. With Omeega since 2021

Nikhil Rao

Food desk

Writes and re-walks the eating routes in Old Delhi, Jaipur and Mumbai. Every stall on a walk has been eaten at within the last ninety days.

Keeps a spreadsheet of which shops shut on which day. It is 240 rows long. With Omeega since 2020

Aditi Menon

Operations

Confirms pickups, chases delayed trains, and pays operators inside seven days. If something goes sideways at 6am, it is her phone that rings.

Has rebooked a Golden Triangle car from a wedding in Karol Bagh. Twice. With Omeega since 2018

Tell us the dates.
We will tell you honestly
whether it works.

Send a sentence about the trip you have in mind. A planner replies within one working day with two or three routes, what they cost all-in, and which weeks to avoid.
